Job
Description:
·
Prepare
cost estimates, schedule and contract strategy for houses or commercial
projects
·
Finalize
tender/quotation documents, perform technical/commercial evaluations and
prepare evaluation of reports/recommendations.
·
Perform
basic/detail construction schedules; interpret architectural and engineering
specifications and codes and standards.
·
Review
architectural and engineering drawings/documents provide by the drafting
offices.
·
Supervise
field construction activities and direct/oversee daily activities.
·
Ensure
full submission/compliance of drawings/technical documents and follow-up on
quality issues
·
Investigate
construction related problems/constraints, collect data and evaluate workforce
performance on site
·
Coordinate
the procurement of goods, material and services relate to the project.
·
Expedite “Just-on-Time” delivery of
construction material, tools and equipment for an optimum execution of the
project
·
Compile
record and revise cost estimate regularly.
·
Provide
“actual vs. estimate” costs weekly
·
Responsible
of the project execution schedule.
·
Alert
management and client of any delays and propose means to catch-up on schedule
slippages
·
Ensure
that work on site is executed safely. “Nobody get Hurt” shall be his main
objective at all time
·
KPIs
or Key Performance Indicators of the role shall include Safety, Quality,
Schedule and Cost
Required Skills:
·
To
implement the construction and/or renovation of private houses and/or office
and commercial facilities and ensure successful completion as per schedule and
costs, providing high quality results in a safer and accident free construction
site. This requires good project management skills as well as adequate
technical know-how and good communication/coordination skills.
·
To
interpret architectural, civil, mechanical and electrical designs with view to
provide technical expertise/advices on most effective way to construct or
renovate the house or office. This requires good analytical skills to be able
to recommend the most efficient way to execute the construction or renovation
work.
·
To
expeditiously trouble shoot site and construction-related problems, perform
root cause analysis of site issues and follow-up on agreed remedial corrective
actions. This can be accomplished by acquiring adequate experience and
knowledge and maintaining effective working relationship and close coordination
with architect, mechanical, electrical and civil engineers as well as the
workforce on site.

To
manage the site work force ensuring that tools, material and equipment are
available on time so that work progresses as per plan free from delays and/or
work stoppage.
·
To
keep abreast of the fast pace development in the housing and commercial
construction field. This can be accomplished by self-learning, attending
conferences/exhibitions and keeping in track with vendors.
Qualifications:
- Male or Female at least 24 years old and above.
- PRC Engineer License is required.
- College Graduate of Civil Engineering Course or Equivalent.
- Minimum of Five (5) years experience in building High-end houses and Commercial Buildings.
- Candidate must have a driver's license.
- Must be willing to stay and Live in Davao City
- Having a good network of reliable and trust worthy construction workers is an asset.
- A good Network of Constructions Supplies is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills both in the English and Native Language are essential.
