Davao City Hiring: Web Marketing Specialist

Roles and responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of SEO techniques that will lead to more inward traffic to their online stores. In particular building ethical links including via information microsites, blogs, Tumblr, Squidoo, Youtube, Pintrest, Facebook, Twitter, forums etc
• Research and identify current Online Marketing trends;
• Give sound advise or strategies as to the best way to execute SEO strategies without getting any penalties or committing any violations
• Prepare and maintain progress reports as required or scheduled
• Promote websites / products through link building, email marketing, and social networking.
• Capable of learning new trends and white hat strategies for online marketing
• Able to give ideas/suggestions to the team regarding blog marketing, social media marketing and link building.


Skill set:
• Good written English
• At least 3 years of good experience in Search Engine Optimization
• Advanced proficiency in various techniques including link building, text optimization and meta tag optimization to name a few
• Good working knowledge in building basic HTML websites/blogs
• Knowledge and previous experience in creating and maintaining Social Media accounts such as Facebook, Tumblr and Squidoo pages etc.
• Content/Article writing skills will be an advantage
• Must be updated with current SEO trends, policies and rules of implementation to avoid penalties and violations - Google Panda and Google Penguin
• Knowledge and skills in Paid campaigns such as Adsense, Adwords, PPC will be an advantage
• Hardworking, resourceful, and has the initiative to try and improve processes and strategies
• A team player, but also capable of working efficiently well as an individual even with minimal supervision
• Graphic design skills will be a plus, but not required
• preferbaly with 3 year call center experience
