Subaru Cars Davao, Inc is in need of General Manager

The position will be responsible among others, ensure the profitability of the entire dealership through vehicles sales and service, controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction.   He will be In-charge of planning and developing short and long-term goals and objectives annually, and submitting time projections to corporate management for approval.

He should effectively communicate with the Finance Manager on a weekly basis to review departmental forecasts and ensure consistency with annual projections.  The GM oversees daily operations, recommending and creating improved courses of action where necessary.  He must be responsible in providing dealership management with weekly reports on the financial condition of the dealership.

He will be in charge of overseeing the monthly financial statement to ensure it is complete, accurate and submitted on time to the management/dealership owners. It is also his responsibility to coordinate with the business/administrative office to ensure that records and analyses are correctly maintained.  He must be able to create and maintain a good working relationship with lending institutions and other business suppliers and partners He will be responsible in creating cost-effective advertising programs and merchandising strategies for the dealership.


Requirements:

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s /College degree in Business Management or similar field, Post-graduate diploma or Master’s degree a plus.                          
• At least 3-5 years of working experience in the related field
• Have a proven and successful track record of effective leadership with Commercial and/or Operational responsibility of a closely related industry
• Must have a good understanding of car dealership best practices and markets
• Should have an excellent communications, presentation, sales training skills and a strong business sense and high level of integrity
• Should have minimum experience in P&L management and associated financial practices
• Possess the ability to manage time effectively and be focused on setting clear objectives and priorities
