Davao City Job Hiring: Procurement Engineer for Leighton Contractors Inc.

One of the region's leading international contractors  is looking for capable Filipino professionals.

Leighton Contractors Inc. is in need of Procurement Engineer

(Head Office and Project-based)

Responsibilities:

• Acquisition of the competitive quotations on the most favourable credit terms from suppliers in accordance with the company's policy and procedures. 
• Ensure that suppliers comply with the parameters of the Supply Agreement, and execute delivery in accordance with the agreement and within programme 
• Preparation of letter of credit
• Process purchase order
• Raise Purchase Order for Head Officer supplier and obtain approvals up to the correct authorisation level
• Manage the procurement database
• Monitor the delivery of imported equipment from pier/airport to project location

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Proficient in the use of MS Office applications
• Knowledge in the procurement of electrical and mechanical equipment is preferred
• Extensive work experience in the same field in large scale projects/multi-cultural organization.
