Software Tester

Responsibilities:

• Software testing concepts (both theory and practice included)
• Developing and reviewing of test documentation (test plans, test cases, defect reports, verification checklists)
• Executing planned and exploratory test cases
• Defect detection, investigation, reporting, follow-up and verification
• Analyzing and documenting test results
• Documenting problems that fail to meet requirements
• Maintain test result tracking documents
• Share testing methods stated within the company
• Bug report-tracking system - The Bug Genie
• Change management concepts
• Software product/program management concepts


Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree  in Computer Science. (Post graduate education in Software Testing is a plus)
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Experience in writing test plans and test cases is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Problem solver with a positive attitude and ability to interact with the team
• Intermediate and above level of spoken and written English, technical reading/writing is obligatory
• Ability to produce clear and accurate test report/documentation
• Flexibility, self-motivation and the ability to give and receive feedback at all levels are required
• Interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to navigate and work through challenges with a positive attitude
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
