Davao City Hiring: Internal Accounting Clerk
Responsibilities:
- Maintains files, including filing of Check vouchers, proof of transactions, and other miscellaneous filings.
- Maintains accounting database by entering data into the computer; processing backups.
- Prepares requisitions for office, computer, and routine supply purchases.
- Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
- Monitor DSL Davao Breakdown of Expenses every month and scan Bank Statement.
- Compute and monitor Withholding Tax.
- Stay current with all regulations, practices, Tax laws, reporting requirements and industry trends.
- Assist with Payroll Preparation
- Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Perform other duties as required.
Basic Qualifications:
- A graduate of BS Accountancy or BS Management Accounting
- Male or Female
- Age limit: 20-27 years old
- Good communication/interpersonal skills as applied in the workplace and a team setting
- Highly organized, analytical and keen on details
- Ability to integrate with a team and work well with others as well as independently
- Must be pro-active and able to work with minimum supervision
- Willingness and ability to take on new challenges and develop new skills
- At least 1 year working experience in the related field is required for this position
