Copy Editor/Proofreader of Academic Manuscripts

Responsibilities:

• Six-day a week workload in an online and flexi-time setting
• Copy edit and proofread a wide range of scholarly materials, including articles for submission to high-impact journals, theses and dissertations, and other publications
• Can deliver quality work on a daily basis
• Can comply with standard operating work procedures, including accommodating client instructions

Requirements:

• Five (5) full-time positions available. Duration of Service Contract: TWO (2) MONTHS with possibility of extension
• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Mass Communications, or equivalent fields. Specialized expertise in the Social Sciences may be considered.
• At least 2 years of solid work experience in copy editing and proofreading. Experience in publishing is an advantage.
• Must have own PC with MS Word software and reliable broadband connection
