BPI Globe BanKO is the Philippine’s first mobile phone-based, microfinance-focused savings bank. It was established in 2009 as a milestone partnership between the Bank of the Philippines Islands (BPI), the oldest operating bank in Southeast Asia; Globe Telecom, a leading telecommunications company; and Ayala Corporation, one of the biggest and most respected conglomerates in the Philippines.

Davao Hiring: Account Officer - Mindanao for BPI Globe BanKo

The position aims to promote financial inclusion. The job seeks to promote and support financial inclusion of organized members of the Bottom of the Pyramid (BOP). Through partnerships with government and non-governmental organizations, BanKO aims to help increase the BOP's financial capability (including access to micro-credit), promote savings and use of financial technology solutions for various payments - disbursements, collections, utility bills. 

Candidates must be a graduate of a four-year course with at least six months experience in a development-oriented project that involved multi-stakeholders (corporate, government, non-government) in providing concrete support to disadvantaged communities.
