Tok Pisin Transcriber (Native Speaker)

Position Summary:
Appen is looking for native speakers of Tok Pisin (Papua New Guinea) residing in the Philippines for a transcription project.

Project Information:
Qualified candidates can Starting ASAP continuing until around March-April 2014. Please register now at http://appenonline.appen.com.au/ and take the Tok Pisin Qualification Spelling Test.

Note: Please make sure that you add Tok Pisin to your Languages under the Account tab. Once you have added it, you will be able to see the Tok Pisin Qualification Spelling Test under the Qualifications Tab.

Key Responsibilities:
The work will involve listening to audio recordings of Tok Pisin speech and typing on computer in Tok Pisin what is said, or fixing the given original Tok Pisin text to match the audio.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be a native speaker of Papua New Guinea Tok Pisin
Must have good Tok Pisin and English spelling skills
Must have access to a computer with reliable internet access
Must be available to work 10-15 hours per week over the next 4-5 months
