Davao Conservation Jobs: Education Officer for Philippine Eagle Foundation
AREA OF ASSIGNMENT
Philippine Eagle Center located at Malagos, Baguio District, Davao City
JOB SUMMARY
You will help provide the tools and the environment for visiting students to develop into environmentally sensitive and responsible persons.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops modules for markets and implements the Open Classroom project;
- Develops, trains volunteers and implements tour guiding scripts/materials directed at specific audiences
- Handles online classroom programs
- Will do hosting of webinars and social events
- Teach and /or brief visitors at the Philippine Eagle Center on PEF’s mission, actions and animal exhibits
- Guide visitors through the animal exhibits
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Graduate of Tourism, Education, Biology, Environmental Science or any related course
- Hardworking
- Outgoing, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to write or speak articulately, with good command of English and Filipino
- Excellent in public relations
- Comfortable hosting webinars and socials events
- With basic knowledge on zoom and photoshop
- Can deal efficiently with tri-media
- Computer literate
- Physically fit
- Can work with minimum supervision, works well under pressure and a team player
