Appen is working on a non-profit project with a relief-work organization. We are helping them collect data for the development of an automated hand-held device to be used in disaster relief in specific areas in the Philippines. This device will allow relief workers to speak into it and automatically translate English to Cebuano (Bisaya) so that the victims can understand them and vice-versa. This will allow for a faster, more efficient response to the victims’ needs.

What we’re looking for:
We are currently in the data-collection phase and will need to do a series of audio recordings of disaster relief scenarios. We need speakers to come into the Appen Davao office for these recordings; and need them for the following roles:
