12G Davao Hiring: Project Officer for Farming

12 Genesis Global Management, Inc. (12G), is a Davao-based company engaged in general management services, leasing management, commercial property management, business planning and consulting services, and sales and brokerage.

12 Genesis Global Management Inc. (12G Davao) needs Project Officer to handle Farm Management Services for several properties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assess what type of farm operations can be used in the property/ies;

• Develop, manage and implement various agricultural programs and strategies that is best suited in the property/ies;

• Provides essential administrative and technical skills to support the programs and strategies success

• Evaluate effectiveness after implementation vis-à-vis performance

• Preparing plans and schedules for implementation of the programs and ensuring staff understands expectations.

• Monitoring staff, crops, and livestock, purchasing supplies, preparing budgets and reports, etc., and ensuring maximum profit. .

• Scheduling repairs, maintenance, and replacement of equipment and machinery.

• Handling the marketing and sale of products produced on the farm like fruit, vegetables, dairy, meat, and grain, etc.

• Ensuring all staff adheres to health and safety regulations.

• Building professional networks and keeping abreast of developments in agricultural science.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, animal science, or equivalent.

• Additional courses in business management or administration is an advantage

• Experience in a farming-related field is also an advantage

• A passion for agriculture.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

• The ability to make decisions in stressful environments.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Willing to work full-time and on weekends

• Willing to learn and be trained

• Willing to travel within and outside Davao City

• Preferably Male

• With Driver’s License (4-Wheels and Motorcycle)
