Highlight:
The Pharmacy Assistant is responsible for performing over-the-counter selling of drugs and health care products through knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service in order to meet set profit plans.
Responsibilities:
1. Dispenses medicine under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
2. Looks after stocks positioning:
a. Monitors availability of merchandise.
b. Refills and displays stocks.
c. Reports out-of-stock/critical stock merchandise to the Pharmacist.
3. Practices good housekeeping.
a. Displays merchandise according to therapeutic use.
b. Monitors expiration dates.
c. Cleans stocks.
d. Practices “first it, first out” (FIFO) method in dispensing.
4. Secures merchandise.
Requirement:
1. Graduate of B.S. Pharmacy, B.S. Education, B.S. Computer Science, B.S. Biology, B.S. Accountancy, B.S. Business Administration and B.S. Psychology or Graduate of any 2 year Health Science course or have completed at least two years of any college course any four-year course or two-year.
2. Male or Female; 20 to 25 years old.
3. Possesses pleasing personality with good grooming.
4. At least 5’2” in height for female; 5”5” for male.
5. Must be willing to work on extended hours as needed.
6. Physically fit; must not possess any chronic diseases or illnesses.
7. Customer - service oriented.

Highlight:
Responsible for ensuring that the pharmacy operates with all the legal requirements in place. The position shall be the Senior Pharmacist’s strong support in the on-the-job training of Pharmacy Assistants and in making sure that high standards of customer service guided by the existing company polices, rules, regulations and ethics are maintained and in the day-to-day supervision of pharmacy operations in the areas of selling, stock management, and patient counseling.
Responsibilities:
1. Reads and interprets drug prescriptions of customers and provides medication substitute if needed, in compliance to RA 6675 (Generics Act).
2. Ensures accurate and prompt dispensing of medicines at all times.
3. Ensures the quality of all dispensed medicines (adhere to the company’s expiry and monitoring procedures).
4. Strictly implements and monitors the pharmacy staff’s adherence to the Senior Citizens Act and the company’s Senior Citizens guidelines, as well as to the Company Drug Dispensing Guidelines.
5. Provides health and wellness counseling to customers as needed.
6. Entertains pharmacy customer complaints and resolves the same to maintain/promote good public relations.
7. Assists the Pharmacist-In-Charge in monitoring proper storage, cleanliness and orderliness of the pharmacy work area to ensure systematic work flow.
8. Implements safety and security measure in accordance with the corporate.
9. Practices good housekeeping and proper maintenance and use of supplies/facilities/equipment in accordance with approved budget limits.
