PHILIPPINE ARMY (Hukbong Katihan ng Pilipinas) 

MISSION

“To develop, organize, train, equip and sustain Army forces for the conduct of prompt and sustained ground operations to accomplish the AFP mission.”

ISO MISSION

To organize, train, equip, deploy, support and sustain ground forces to defeat the CTM by 2010, destroy the ASG and contain the SPSG in order to establish a physically and psychologically secure environment conducive to national development.

FUNCTIONS

Organize, train and equip Army forces for the conduct of prompt and sustained combat operations on land;

Prepare such units as may be necessary for the effective prosecution of national defense plans and programs and Armed Forces mission, including the expansion of the peacetime ARMY component to meet any emergency;

Develop, in accordance with the other Major Services, tactics, techniques and equipment of interest to the Army on field operations;

Train, organize and equip all ARMY reserve units; and

Perform such functions as the higher authorities may direct.

Qualifications:

• Filipino
• Graduate of any 4 - 5 year course in College
• Single
• Minimum height is 5 feet
• 21 - 29 years old
• Physically and Mentally fit

Requirements:

• NSO Birth Certificate
• Transcript of Records and College Diploma
• Valid ID

Salary Upon Entry:

• Officer Candidate - P33, 725.00
• 2nd Lieutenant - P38, 145.00
