Regional Lawyer for The Legal Rights and Natural Resources Center

The Legal Rights and Natural Resources Center – Kasama sa Kalikasan (LRC-KSK/Friends of the Earth-Philippines), a non profit and non stock research and policy institution, with 21 years of experience in the promotion of indigenous peoples rights. The Center has also developed expertise on the subject of land tenure, natural resource management, forestry issues, energy efficiency and community and local initiatives.

The institution is in need of a Regional Lawyer


based in Davao City
* Must have graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, and has passed the Bar examinations
• With knowledge of rural development issues and the advocacy issues related to indigenous peoples’ rights,
forestry, mining and land issues.
• With demonstrated skills in legal research and writing
• With demonstrated skills in developing legal strategies and options
• Willingness to go on field and community visits
• Team player and able to relate well with people
