PSOFT Inc. is a Davao City based company with main focus on software development and testing. We are currently looking for a young, “hungry”, responsible, communicative and responsive CPA -
Certified Public Accountant. Next to book keeping and administrative tasks, you will function as a the CEO's right hand in matters ranging from staff issues to interactions with officials and governments. Communication takes place via in person, via e-mail or via Skype. Your job will include catching ideas and thoughts and turning these into action points that are taken cared of.
The position implies activities such as the following tasks:
--book keeping on a computerized server based system of choice (that the technicians will install for you)
--keeping records of the company’s financial transactions.
--contact with government authorities
other administrative tasks
It is vital and mandatory that you possess the following qualifications / characteristics:
--CPA licensed
--computer literate (MS Office, Open Office, Google Docs, etc)
--perfect English with a relaxed and versatile language that reflects your educational level
--responsive, keen and communicative, both with peers, managers and clients
--structured and used to documenting all work in understandable and intelligent reports
--professional and have a genuine and unique eye for “the final touch” of anything you do.

--bother to run the spell checker on your application letter and know how to --express politeness and professionalism without sounding like a 18th century judge in your e-mails to clients and managers

Additional details:
--initially part time work, 20 hours a week
--six months probation employment
--SSS and Philhealth maintained primarily by the employee (deducted)
--start in late September with introduction and hand over from our current, highly experienced, accountant.
In addition to the above mentioned tasks, you will be required to do more every day administrative tasks required to make the office run smoothly. This could range from buying soft drinks or computers or boil a pot of tea for you colleagues when the kettle is empty, to arranging hotels or visa extensions and on rare occasions showing flown in guests and customers the sunny side of Davao. Your mind set should be that there is no task that you are to good to do, if it makes the enterprise run smoothly. A hungry, flexible, pragmatic, “go getter” attitude is a winning attitude for this position. In other words, if you see something that needs to be done - just do it! That is how we all need to work.
